Spiritual Retreats and Ceremonies
Here at Ancient Awakenings, we are blessed to be in a space to offer our retreats at a minimal cost. For retreats led by AATHA, the requested donation is a $100 deposit, with $100 due upon arrival. If we have a visiting church, the donation amount is determined by them but is usually around $300 per night. We keep our costs low by having our guests help supply food for the community, and we all pitch in to support the space. Our retreats are valued at around $1,500, and we promise you will get that value even if the dollar amount we are requesting is lower. We hope to provide access to all who are called to these beautiful medicines.
Retreat Program
During our retreats, you will experience many different types of medicines. Some of our medicine practices include sweat lodge, ice baths, guided meditation, sound healing, breathwork, yoga, and ecstatic dance. We may also sit with Cannabis, Hape, and Sananga. Sacrament Ceremony is also included in many retreats.
The Temple
Our Temple is located on the east side of Hillsborough County in a small town called Valrico. We have a 1.5-acre property canopied in Grandfather Oaks. We have a Sweat Lodge and several other ceremonial spaces available for use. We now have an outdoor kitchen available for cooking. In our Community Center, you will find a full bathroom with a hot shower. Enjoy beautiful, clean well water throughout the property.

Accomodations
For your stay, you can bring your tent or hammock. We have hammocks available to rent for $5 per night. We have tents available for $50 per night that will include a bed and linens. We have a small RV available for $150 per night. It sleeps three and has one king and one single bed. It has a kitchen and bathroom, and also includes an AC and a fireplace. For $75 per night, you can also choose to stay in the climate-controlled Community Center on a mattress with linens provided. Ancient Awakenings has indoor (hot) and outdoor (cool) showers available with toiletries provided.
